Quality Assurance Manager FTC

We are now looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to play a vital role in safeguarding product quality by developing and maintaining quality control systems. Working closely with the Head of Quality, this role will ensure compliance with industry standards, identify and address operational issues, and continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency.
You will work alongside our R&D, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Logistics teams and will manage 2 Quality Team Leaders, who each have 3 Quality Controllers under them.
This role is a 12 month fixed term contract and will be based in our Innovation Centre in Aston Clinton, Aylesbury (HP22 5WJ) 4 days per week, with 1 day working from home.
Responsibilities:
Manages the Quality Control System to monitor operational tasks and outputs, ensuring consistent delivery of top-quality products to customers.
Creates and maintains strong, comprehensive and effective route systems for the QCs to follow.
Reports, analyses and finds corrective and preventive actions to all malfunctions to operational tasks and outputs.
Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analysing quality data.
Review current standards, policies, processes and documentation, guaranteeing they are simple, comprehensive, efficient, and adhered to.
Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews and relevant documentation. Ensure all standards are met.
Act as an authorised person to ensure each batch has been manufactured and checked in accordance with the marketing authorisation.
Requirements:
A BSc (or equivalent) in a scientific discipline is desirable.
Experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
Strong working knowledge of ISO 22716 (Cosmetics GMP) and FDA requirements.
Proven experience in adapting to changing circumstances, influencing stakeholders, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Excellent problem solving skills, with the ability to navigate unprecedented scenarios effectively.
Team management experience.
