Supply Chain Manager - 12 month FTC

As our Supply Chain Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our operations run smoothly, sustainably, and successfully. From securing 100% inbound (raw materials/packaging) stock availability to nurturing strong supplier partnerships, you’ll be at the forefront of helping Medik8 scale globally and efficiently.
This is a 12 month maternity cover and is a hybrid role, with 3 days a week at our Innovation Centre in Aylesbury (HP22 5WJ) and 2 days remote working.
In more detail your role will include:
Ensure Timely & Quality Inbound Material Supply: guarantee that all inbound materials consistently meet our precise production requirements and arrive on schedule, minimising disruptions and maintaining efficient manufacturing processes.
Leverage Inventory Data for Strategic Decisions: provide insightful inventory reporting and analysis, translating data into strategic decisions and identifying key opportunities for improvement.
Drive Supplier Excellence: continue to lead the implementation and execution of supplier evaluations for all key partners, verifying their capabilities and ensuring they meet our quality objectives.
Uphold Exacting Supplier Standards & Compliance: guarantee that all suppliers adhere to our rigorous standards, ensuring full audit adherence and upholding our high standards.
Support Optimal Operations: oversee the communication of supplier deliveries and long term planning.
Build strong relationships: key supplier contact to ensure strong communication within relevant functions.
Optimise to meet the demand plan: plan and organise materials flows to enable optimum working capital and supply.
Requirements:
Have proven experience in a similar Supply Chain role
Have experience working with MRP systems and supply planning tools
Excellent supplier management, building long term relationships
Be an expert of data analytics.
Data first mind set with strong analytical thinking
Excellent attention to detail with ability to zoom out to think strategically
Highly organised
