Head of Quality Compliance - FTC

As the Head of Quality Compliance, you will lead initiatives that ensure we not only meet but exceed customer expectations in both product quality and service delivery.
You will champion a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the business Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will collaborate closely with the Head of Quality Assurance and key internal stakeholders to align compliance efforts with broader business goals.
In this role, you will manage and develop a team of three direct reports: an Internal Auditor, a Compliance Officer, and a Quality Compliance Operative.
In more detail, your role will include:
- Develop, maintain, and improve the Quality Management System in line with applicable standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure updates to the quality management system are clearly communicated to stakeholders and that relevant changes to working practice are put in place.
- Responsible for Business Continuity Procedure roll-out and Crisis Management framework.
- Lead internal and external audits, including planning, execution, and follow-up of corrective actions.
- Monitor and interpret changes in regulations and standards affecting the business, ensuring timely updates to policies and procedures.
- Partner with operational and functional leaders to guide the implementation of compliant processes and controls.
- Oversee documentation systems to maintain complete and accurate compliance records.
- Manage compliance risk assessments and ensure appropriate mitigation plans are in place.
- Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities, certification bodies, and customers on compliance matters.
- Develop and deliver training programs to raise awareness of compliance obligations and best practices.
- Provide regular compliance performance reports and updates to senior leadership.

- A track record of implementing and monitoring quality systems and processes to drive operational goals.
- Substantial experience in a similar role in the regulated manufacturing industry.
- Extensive experience in implementing and managing e-QMS systems.
- Subject Matter Expert of ISO9001 / ISO22716 (Cosmetics GMP).
- Extensive experience on FDA requirements, TGA or equivalent regulatory requirements and proven knowledge in hosting notified body unannounced visits.
- A BSc (or equivalent) in a scientific discipline, preferably Chemistry.
