Reports to: Blending Team Leader
Department: Manufacturing, Team Leader
Overview
The Process/Blending Operative is responsible for manufacturing bulk batches of products in accordance with precise formulations and production schedules. The primary objective is to create consistent, high-quality pilot and production batches on time, adhering to all procedural, quality, and safety guidelines.
Working Monday to Friday onsite - 6 AM - 2:30 PM
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manufacture bulk products to the highest quality standards, strictly following formulation and process guidelines.
- Accurately weigh, check, and combine raw materials as per the batch formula.
- Conduct in-process analysis and quality checks on batches during production, accurately recording all observations and data.
- Operate, clean, and maintain blending machinery and equipment safely and competently.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the blending environment to prevent cross-contamination.
- Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines and procedures at all times.
- Comply with all company Health & Safety policies to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and colleagues.
Requirements & Skills
Demonstrable ability to follow instructions and procedures with a high degree of accuracy and consistency.
Strong attention to detail, especially when working with formulations and measurements.
Good IT skills for data recording and system operation.
A collaborative and proactive team member, committed to achieving team goals.
The ability to work effectively under pressure to meet production deadlines.
Physically capable of performing manual handling tasks, including the lifting of raw materials, in line with safety protocols.
Experience in a similar process-driven manufacturing role (e.g., Cosmetics, Chemicals, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical).
Previous experience working in a GMP-regulated environment.
