Head of Creative
Are you a visionary Creative Leader with a passion for blending scientific integrity with sophisticated design? Do you thrive on driving brand consistency across the globe while directly impacting commercial success? Medik8 is looking for a senior, inspiring leader to become our Global Head of Brand Creative & Design.
This is a critical role within our Global Customer Experience department, accountable for leading the full-funnel brand creative and design vision across all global touchpoints. You will be instrumental in driving customer recall, boosting conversion, and building long-term brand equity for Medik8.
You will lead a high-performing team of 8 creative professionals who deliver all design needs. The role includes 4 direct reports who oversee our core creative capabilities across Studio, Video & Photography, and Design.
Responsibilities:
- Drives the global creative vision across all company touchpoints, ensuring a consistently elevated presence that blends scientific credibility with sophisticated simplicity in every communication.
- Sets and communicates Medik8’s multi-channel creative and product design vision that drives positive brand sentiment and helps deliver company commercial objectives.
- Accountable for delivering best in class creative assets that drive up Conversion Rate (CVR) and drive down Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC).
- Accountable for creation, communication and onward iteration of creative / digital guidelines.
- Model selection lead that ensures all model talent is aligned with brand vision.
- Creative lead with external agencies alongside Head of Brand Campaigns to ensure overall campaign creative direction is in line with brand vision.
- Has ultimate accountability for the visual identity of the brand so it remains consistent and cohesive across evergreen and campaign outputs.
- Kits creative lead & partnerships support to Head of Brand Content.
- Works closely with Head of Brand Campaigns, Head of Communications and Head of Brand Content to optimise internal workflow and economies of effort.
- Stays abreast of cultural and market trends to inform innovation in creative.
- Leads capability of the team to ensure constantly upskilling in latest digital technologies and bringing out-side in design capabilities for the company
- Is an inspiring and empathetic leader that creates a positive and energetic environment where their team thrives and develops.
Requirements:
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire, develop, and unify multidisciplinary creative teams.
- Proven experience leading global brand creative vision and delivering memorable campaigns that build equity, recall and conversion.
- Strong commercial acumen and a customer-centric approach, balancing creativity with business impact.
- Demonstrated success collaborating with agencies, freelancers and cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive, high-quality creative output.
- Deep expertise in visual identity, multi-channel creative and some packaging design to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.
- Up-to-date knowledge of digital trends, cultural insights and innovative design technologies to keep the brand ahead.
- A strong portfolio showcasing impactful global campaigns and cohesive brand experiences.
- Significant experience in senior creative leadership, ideally within beauty, skincare or premium consumer goods sectors.
