Global Copywriter
The Brand team plays a pivotal role within Medik8 by producing exciting assets that build out our campaigns, drive sales on and offline plus developing and engaging our social media communities. Very much digital and creative people, we collaborate across the organisation to deliver first-class design, content, products and services in an agile and data-driven manner.

12 Month FTC - Salary: £40,000 to ££48,000 (dependant on experience)
Hybrid Working: This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week based at our office and 2 days from home.
Location: We are currently based in Centennial Park, Elstree, however, we will be relocating to the Central London area in 2027.

As an expert in compelling copywriting, we are looking for someone who will capture the principles and values that built the Medik8 brand and showcase our amazing products, services and culture.
You will create high-impact and informative content that not only engages and educates our global audiences but also inspires them to want to learn more. As a pivotal player in the Brand team, you will act as the authority on copywriting within Medik8, ensuring consistency, clarity and compliance.
You will produce content across a range of media including digital campaigns, brand storytelling and selected packaging. Working in close liaison with our R&D team, you will interpret our incredible science and technology stories and distill them into compelling, easy to understand messages that set Medik8 apart in the premium skincare market.

In more detail your role will include:
Leading the business for copywriting consistency and excellence aligned with the new brand blueprint. Leveraging latest technologies e.g. AI tools
Defining and embedding channel-specific tone of voice guidance toolkits within the business (internally and with distributors), aligned with the new brand blueprint
Partnering with Brand Managers on the development of Global Campaigns (for both NPD and brand moments), to help shape positioning and messaging hierarchies, as well as content creation across all associated assets (from OOH, press releases, POS, paid media to blogs)
Translating our science and technology stories into consumer-friendly messaging that build trust and credibility
Taking detailed, ad hoc briefs from all teams for specific projects (e.g. sustainability, loyalty program and employer brand initiatives) that require copy expertise, ensuring that copy translates into compelling, must-read content across platforms such as our owned website, blogs and advertising
Selected packaging copywriting e.g. seasonal gift sets and beauty accessories/GWPs
Supporting with the artwork approval process for packaging
Supporting Brand Team with maintenance and creation of evergreen assets
Ensuring all copy adheres to accessibility standards, in line with the European Accessibility Act
Providing regular copy guidance to Regional Copywriter and CRM Executives
We would love to hear from you if you..
Have experience working in a similar role
Have excellent copywriting and storytelling skills (SEO experience desired but not essential)
Have an understanding of the regulatory and compliance frameworks that must be adhered to (ASA/FDA/TGA)
Have proofreading experience and scrupulous attention to spelling and grammar
Are a strong verbal communicator with the ability to manage a varied workload in a pressured environment
Are passionate about beauty and possess the ability to translate scientific information into consumer-friendly content in a punchy and succinct style
