UK Head of Acquisition
Reporting to the Director of Ecommerce, the Head of Acquisition will be responsible for setting and successfully executing the customer acquisition strategy.
You will drive customer growth through all paid digital channels (PPC/SEO), working closely with the Social, Influencer, and Content teams to attract new customers to our digital channels, including Amazon. You will set clear direction across all customer touchpoints, measure CPA/ROAS/CAC, and work in partnership with the Head of Retention to set new customers up for long-term success (measured by LTV).
This role would suit an expert who combines a strategic, analytical mindset with the resourcefulness to run with bright ideas in a fast-paced, "low ego" environment. Salary: £80,000 - £100,000.
Hybrid Working: This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week based at our office and 2 days from home.
Location: We are currently based in Centennial Park, Elstree, however, we will be relocating to the Central London area in 2027.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy: Set and gain stakeholder buy-in for the customer acquisition strategy across all digital marketing channels, including PPC, paid social, affiliates, influencer, display and Amazon.
In-house/Agency Management: Lead internal and external teams across Search, Display, Social, and Amazon campaigns, from briefing through testing and optimisation.
Campaign & Digital Asset Management: Oversee acquisition campaigns, including A/B testing. Media Mix modelling and continuous improvement initiatives.
Budget, Forecasting & Data: Set and manage the acquisition budget, analyse ROI, and provide data-driven insights to inform future campaigns. Deliver reporting on KPIs and budget metrics.
Platforms: Own digital marketing platforms, CRM, Amazon, and front/back-end technologies supporting customer acquisition across all touchpoints.
Partnerships: Work closely with the Retention team and lead digital planning sessions with agency partners to support the trading plan.
Leadership: Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing acquisition team, providing coaching and training aligned with company growth objectives.
Critical Skills & Experience
Proven experience in customer acquisition across paid and organic channels for a D2C business; beauty/skincare experience is advantageous but not essential.
Experience in high-growth consumer businesses or relevant digital agencies, with a track record of growing a customer base by 30%+ in three years.
Strategic mindset with experience translating vision into actionable growth plans.
Highly analytical and data-driven, ideally with experience managing a recently established customer database.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to deliver against growth targets.
Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
Alignment with company culture: self-starter, problem solver, and team-oriented in a creative, diverse environment.
