As our HR Advisor, you’ll be right at the heart of this. Reporting to our dedicated HR Business Partner, you’ll support the lifeblood of our business - the Operations, Supply Chain, and R&D teams. From the moment someone joins us at our Innovation Centre to their ongoing development, you’ll be the one ensuring their experience is seamless. You’ll join a collaborative HR team of 10, working alongside our in-house L&D and Talent Acquisition experts to keep our people strategy moving forward.
We’re looking for someone who is naturally organised and has a sharp eye for detail. If you’re a brilliant communicator who enjoys a broad, hands-on role - covering everything from payroll and onboarding to internal communications - we’d love to chat. You’ll be based on-site with us 3 days a week in Aylesbury, right where the innovation happens.
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
In more detail your role will include:
Own ER and Legal Compliance
Lead supporting managers on ER cases, including absence, performance, disciplinary & grievances.
Proactively flag upcoming employment legislation changes.
Lead Annual review process of Policies.
Handle day-to-day HR queries from employees, providing advice in line with current company policies and procedures.
Lead partnership with Governance/Sustainability/Quality to ensure well prepared for relevant audits and ensure ongoing compliance with company and legal requirements.
Support in identifying & designing materials for capability build areas to mitigate risk associated with ER & Legal compliance.
Deliver a great experience through Employee LifeCycle moments
Manage HR administration from onboarding to offboarding, including preparing documentation, conducting right to work checks, processing references, benefits administration and Occupational Health checks.
Manage the HR inbox, triage incoming requests, and ensure prompt and accurate responses to queries.
Support with monthly payroll input.
Support in Annual HR Processes and Performance & Reward cycles with letter generation and other administration coordination.
Ensure data & process optimisation within our HRIS
Maintain and ensure the accuracy of employee records within the HR Information System (HRIS).
Assist with compiling HR-related reports and analytics.
Bring a continuous improvement mindset to all our HR Processes.
Supporting Culture Building Initiatives
Review and update company information screens with HR-related news, communications, and event information.
Coordinate the ordering and distribution of employee gifts
Manage catering requests for HR-led company events.
Collaborate with the wider People team on project-related work and initiatives.
Requirements:
Proven HR advisor experience.
CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.
Strong employee relations knowledge and case management experience.
Good understanding of UK employment law.
HR system experience (Hibob or similar).
Excellent team player.
Confident working in a hands on fast paced operational setting.
You are able to work independently, manage time and prioritise tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent written communication skills.
You have proven work ethic with utmost integrity and willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
You are self-motivated, passionate, empathetic, approachable with rigorous commitment to accuracy and detail.
