Cleaner - Weekend
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain our commercial office spaces and warehouse facility.
The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and hygienic environment by performing a variety of cleaning duties, including floor care, waste removal, sanitising high-touch points, and maintaining break areas.
The ideal candidate will ensure that compliance with all application standards of safety and hygiene at all times. This role requires the ability to work independently, adhere to safety protocols, and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
This role will be site-based, Saturday and Sunday – 08:30-17:00
For this opportunity, we are offering £13.45 per hour.
This role is a 3 month contract.
Key Responsibilities
Industrial Warehouse Cleaning:
Floor Care: Sweep, mop, and operate industrial machinery (floor scrubbers/sweepers) to clean and degrease walkways, aisles, and machinery zones.
Debris & Dusting: Clear packaging waste (cardboard/plastic) into correct bins; dust high shelves, racking systems, and fixtures.
Safety & Deep Cleans: Keep fire lanes and emergency exits completely clear; execute scheduled periodic deep cleans.
Office & Communal Area Cleaning:
Workspaces: Dust, wipe down, and sanitize desks, tables, window sills, and workstations.
Floor Maintenance: Vacuum carpets and mop all hard flooring across offices, corridors, and meeting rooms.
Hygiene Facilities: Deep-clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and canteens (including appliances); empty all waste and recycling daily.
Stock & Audit: Monitor, restock, and order cleaning supplies/toiletries to guarantee 100% availability.
Reporting: Proactively identify and report any maintenance issues, hazards, or required repairs.
Essential skills:
BICs trained, experience in cleaning within a warehouse and office environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work to a high standard.
Ability to follow procedures and cleaning schedules/checklists.
Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and cleaning products is beneficial.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Physical stamina to handle manual labor, including bending, lifting, and standing for
extended periods.
