Supply Chain Administrator
Are you highly organised, data-driven, and looking to build a career in a fast-paced supply chain environment? We are seeking a proactive Supply Chain Administrator to keep our operations running smoothly.
In this pivotal role, you will be bridging the gap between overseas suppliers, subcontractors, and our internal warehouse, finance, and quality teams. You will manage crucial ERP data, track global deliveries, and solve problems proactively to ensure our stock arrives exactly when and where it's needed.
Salary - £27,000 - £28,000
Work Pattern - Hybrid (3 days a week based in office)
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Supplier Management:
Global Logistics: Work closely with overseas suppliers and subcontractors to coordinate the seamless import of stock into our warehouse.
Relationship Coordination: Act as a key point of contact for suppliers, managing queries regarding purchase orders, invoicing, and urgent payment resolutions.
Operational Alignment: Support the warehouse and quality assurance teams to quickly resolve any delivery or stock quality issues.
Data Integrity & Reporting:
ERP Maintenance: Keep our ERP system and product modules 100% accurate, ensuring all purchase order data is flawlessly maintained.
Compliance Tracking: Maintain up-to-date supplier conformance files and certificate records.
Performance Reporting: Build and manage daily, weekly, and monthly reports to track delivery timelines and support inventory management.
Proactive Problem Solving:
Risk Mitigation: Monitor "deliveries at risk" metrics, proactively identifying potential bottlenecks in the supply chain and working on swift solutions to minimise disruption.
Internal Communication: Keep key internal departments fully updated on order statuses and project timelines.
Essential Skills
Technical Savvy: Strong IT skills, particularly with Excel / Google Sheets for data tracking and reporting.
Impeccable Attention to Detail: You take pride in data accuracy and spot discrepancies easily.
Thrives Under Pressure: The ability to prioritise tasks, multitask, and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Top-Tier Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across finance, warehouse, and supplier teams.
Proactive Attitude: A natural problem-solver who takes the initiative to suggest improvements rather than waiting for direction.
Desirable Skills
Previous administrative experience within a supply chain, logistics, or retail environment.
A numerical or business-focused degree.
