National Account Manager - Retail
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + Discretionary Bonus
Location: Hybrid (Centennial Park, Elstree / London Bridge from Jan 2027)
Department: UK Commercial
About The Role
We are seeking an operational, commercially driven National Account Manager to join our UK Commercial team.
Reporting into the Senior National Account Manager, you will take ownership of day-to-day commercial management and relationship building for key prestige retail accounts (including Sephora and Harrods), alongside supporting broader UK channel execution.
In this role, you will focus on turning Joint Business Plans (JBPs) into operational reality - managing promotional execution, stock availability, NPD launches, and sell-in/sell-out tracking. You will bring strong numerical accuracy, commercial focus, and a collaborative approach to driving brand growth in store and online.
In more detail, your role will include:
Account Management & Relationship Building
Retailer Execution: Own day-to-day relationships with retail Buyer, Merchandising, and Marketing teams to ensure smooth operational delivery of agreed plans.
JBP Delivery: Partner with the SNAM to deliver agreed Joint Business Plans (JBPs), ensuring promotional calendars, activation support, and space allocations are executed on time.
In-Store & Online Visibility: Coordinate in-store eventing, visual merchandising updates, and digital shelf assets with the Trade Marketing team.
Sales Forecasting & Stock Planning
Forecasting Accuracy: Track and maintain accurate account-level Retail and Net sales forecasts against agreed monthly targets.
Stock & Demand Planning: Work closely with Demand Planning to forecast Core and New Product Development (NPD) lines, maintaining optimal stock cover and preventing out-of-stock risks.
Promotional & P&L Tracking: Monitor promotional performance, investment margins, campaign ROI, and sell-out speed, flagging risks and commercial opportunities to leadership.
Commercial & Data Reporting
Performance Analysis: Use retailer EPOS and sales data to track weekly performance, identify stock gaps, and monitor sell-through trends.
Cross-Functional Execution: Act as the operational commercial lead for account administration, including new line setups, promotional submissions, and cross-functional launch trackers across Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance.
