Quality Compliance Manager
At Medik8, we don’t just follow trends; we formulate the future of skincare. We are a fast-growing, clinical skincare brand dedicated to providing high-performance, results-driven products backed by scientific research and innovation. We operate with low egos, high standards, and a supportive community where everyone can thrive.
We are currently looking for an experienced and proactive Quality Compliance Manager to support the continued development and effectiveness of our Quality Management System (QMS). Reporting to the Head of Quality Compliance, you will take primary ownership of our Change Controls and Internal Audits. In this highly collaborative role, you will also provide leadership, coaching, and technical support to a dedicated Quality Compliance team of three who oversee CAPAs, Customer Complaints, and Document Control.
Salary £50,000
If you are a pragmatic problem-solver who can balance strict compliance requirements with practical business needs, and you are passionate about embedding a proactive quality culture, this is an exceptional opportunity to make a high-visibility impact.
Key Responsibilities
Change Control & Audits: Own the Change Control process, ensuring all changes are robustly risk-assessed, implemented, and closed. Lead and maintain the Internal Audit programme to ensure effective, timely completion and appropriate resolution of findings.
Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a team of three Quality Compliance members, managing their workload, building their capability, and promoting a proactive quality culture.
CAPAs & Complaints: Oversee CAPA and complaint workflows, guiding your team through complex, high-risk investigations, root cause analysis, and effectiveness checks.
Cross-Functional Guidance: Act as a subject matter expert across the business, providing actionable advice on ISO 9001 and ISO 22716, and supporting supplier onboarding when required.
Continuous Improvement: Manage the Document Control process to ensure ongoing compliance while actively identifying opportunities to simplify and improve our quality processes and systems.
Our Commitment to Inclusion (The 60% Rule): Research shows that candidates from underrepresented backgrounds often only apply if they meet 100% of the criteria. At Medik8, we care about potential, passion, and transferable talent. If you meet at least 60% of the essential criteria below and feel excited about this role, we strongly encourage you to apply!
