Location: Current Location, Elstree - Moving to London Bridge from 4th January 2027
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role
At Medik8, we are transforming the beauty industry with science-backed technology and high-performance clinical skincare. As our global footprint expands, we are seeking a commercially sharp and strategic Retail Marketing Manager to lead and execute our trade marketing strategy across prestige retail partners in the UK.
This pivotal role bridges internal brand strategy and external commercial execution. You will own the end-to-end retail marketing ecosystem, translating core brand strategies into high-impact trade calendars, managing digital shelf optimisation across e-retailers, directing in-store visual merchandising, and managing trade budgets to maximise ROI and sell-out performance.
In more detail, your role will include:
Senior Relationship Management & Trade Strategy: Serve as the strategic marketing partner for key retail accounts, leading joint trade marketing discussions and aligning trade calendars with key retailer priority windows and Joint Business Plans.
Retailer.com & Digital Activation Strategy: Own and execute the Retailer.com strategy, optimising digital shelf visibility, PDP setups, search performance, and digital co-op placement on retailer apps, newsletters, and homepages.
Visual Merchandising (VM) & In-Store Execution: Oversee physical store activations, including seasonal gondola refreshes, planogram updates, windows, pop-ups, and tester units, coordinating closely with external VM vendors and installers.
Sampling, GWP & Loyalty Marketing: Develop retailer-specific sampling programs, Gift With Purchase (GWP) strategies, and deluxe trial kits to drive client acquisition, basket size, and integration into retailer loyalty networks.
Campaign Execution & NPD Launches: Translate channel-specific brand activation briefs into tailored commercial marketing toolkits, partnering with Creative and Content teams to deliver localised assets across online and offline touchpoints.
Trade Investment & Supply Alignment: Lead trade budget planning per retailer, allocating co-op spending, calculating ROI targets, and collaborating with Demand Planning to ensure accurate promotional stock forecasting.
Field Team & BA Synergy: Partner with internal Education teams to align Beauty Advisor (BA) training programs, product toolkits, and store incentives with key launch moments.
Sell-Out Analytics & Business Reviews: Track, analyse, and report on weekly sell-out data to monitor campaign velocity, leading Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with internal leadership and external retail partners.
